These bridals were done last summer in the beautiful evening "golden hour" light. I am really missing these warm summer nights in the middle of February! I can almost feel the sun warming the backs of my arms when I look at these photos. The golden light and the warm tones in the flowers lead us from late summer to early fall.
About the Bouquet
When I was working on this bouquet I knew that I wanted a loose airy feel that would give way with movement or a slight breeze. The long pieces of italian ruscus and pampas grass give it that swaying in the breeze feel. To add a little juxtaposition I added some branches and twigs that give the bouquet more structure and stability. One of my favorite things about this bouquet is the way that it photographs well from every angle. The bouquet changes and moves depending on how it's held.
I have had many brides ask me about this or a similar color pallet for their weddings. I had so much fun putting this together...and am looking forward to those warm summer nights again!
Thanks for following along flower friend!
