I just love fall. I love the crispness of the air after the long, hot summer. I love the cozy clothing and the boots. I love the cool mornings with a cup of cocoa or tea. I love the crunchy leaves and the vibrant colors. What is not to love?
This bouquet and shoot bring back all of those fall feelings, and get me excited about what is to come this year.
Can we take a little moment for chrysanthemum appreciation? I believe these hardy flowers are under-utilized and under-appreciated. They are inexpensive and easy to work with, they hold up well for long periods of time out of water, and they give me that dahlia feeling for a fraction of the price. They are wonderful! And although you can get them year-round, they really shine in the fall.
In this bouquet we also used these beautiful Chinese lanterns. Don’t they just look like little pumpkins hanging on a vine? They add both texture and interest to this bouquet.
Well, hope this get you all excited for fall! Thanks for reading flower friend!
